A practical guide: approve outreach before it starts

By Branko Miljesic · Scale My Business

Agree the list, wording, reply owner and stop-request process before outreach begins. Keep private client records in the systems your firm already uses.

Approve the list and wording

The owner approves the business types, territory, exclusions and every message version before activity starts. Only describe services the firm can actually deliver.

Name the reply owner

Assign someone to review replies and record the next step. Honor stop requests. Keep sensitive client documents out of outreach messages and marketing records.

Agree the work before it starts

Onboarding includes a 6-month and a 12-month roadmap. The written agreement records scope, responsibilities, dates and billing. Outreach does not guarantee meetings, clients or revenue.
